Information about spiked helmets makers

Hello to all of you,
In Colonel J's article about the spiked helmets makers, there is a maker named BABBENFOLD & Co - BARMEN B.A.X.
What means B.A.X. ?
I bought recently a pelmuzte trooper 2 Leib Husaren. Inside, a stample with BABBENFOLD & Co - Barmen in white and on the liner B.A.X.
in black and the size 56 also in black

Betrand,
BAX is the symbol for the clothing section of X Korps.
Bekleidungs Amt- (Followed by a roman numeral Corps number)
So your uniform should have been in X Korps.


Things differ between uniforms and helmets in the marking area. I have only looked at helmets but the books by Kraus, and Sommers have uniform markings, Hope this helps.

Bertrand, did you realize that both Leib Husaren regts were in the XVII Armee Korps?
