Peter: They are Model 1900 helmets for troops of the East Asia Occupation brigade. The helmet is certainly based on the M95 helmet but the body is covered with grey/green felt, the front and rear visors are green leather and there is no metal rear spine. The spike &base unscrew as one piece. A domed sheetmetal cap is stored inside the top of the helmet and is screwed to the outside of the helmet when the spike/base is removed. The front plate is the Imperial Eagle. This helmet was unique to the East Asian expeditionaty troops.
