Am I just being dense??? Why am I having such a difficult time connecting the dots on references for this unit? Some references do not even list it. Nonetheless, there it is! Which reference are people using to look at the uniforms for this unit?

One reason for the confusion may be that the Sächsische Jäger-Bataillon Nr. 15 (Wurzen) was disbanded in April 1900 and provided the new first Bataillon of the 15. Königlich Sächsische Infanterie-Regiment Nr. 181. They carried on the tradition of the former Jäger-Bataillon Nr. 15 and I believe the entire regiment even continued to carry the hunting bugle on their shoulder boards for some time.
