the flag was taken to the S O S and sold to
Helmut Weitze
It did not last very long on his site

Steve, €35,000 was the asking price on Weitze, I think it lasted a week on his site.

No question about it
But if one is a flag person it is a
once in a lifetime chance to own a flag
every officer and enlisted man had
a helmet and a uniform
in the case of the cavalry (except the 1 L K R 1)
there was only one flag
