Just a Small Find - French Aiguillette End from The 1812 Campaign

Well, I’ve been shopping again! My latest find is a French Napoleonic officer’s aiguillette (shoulder cord) end from Napoleon’s 1812. I suspect that this example was worn by a cavalryman, but I’ll have to do more research.

That can be an expensive venture, at least from what I've seen. If I'm not mistaken they can be upwards of 700 USD.
Yep, from what I’ve seen, prices range anywhere from $450 for a relic (if you get lucky), up to $1000+ for one in good condition. It can get quite expensive!
