Just in M 1915 Uhlan Regt 5 and Uhlan Regt 16

Just got in a pair of M 1915 Uhlan Regt 5 e m straps
and a single M 1915 for Uhlan Regt 16
U R 16 carries a cypher
so this has to be some Landwehr unit ?

Steve, so this straps are for the (Kriegs-)Friedensrock M15/16.
I do not know much about cavalry and I have limited resources!!!
but with the "16", apparently there were some ulan-units that had no cypher on the straps for the coat.*

Here is what Mike Kelso found out ;
I might add the UR16 strap is for the Landwehr squadron associated with UR16 which wore GR cypher. I think a hard to find strap for LW 16. I found the info in Somers volume 3. Mike
