JZP M1915 EM Metalhelme

If I'm not mistaken, the seller has been attempting to sell this helmet--and several other ones like the Bav. Cav. M15 with a regular Inf. Spike--for a while.
It does look quite nice however awfully expensive for an EM Metalhelme...
However, can somene clarify this silver guilting issue please? That wappen should be feldgrau like the rest of the metal fittings. What would the silver addition mean?

I've dealt with Brent before, he's okay. Looks as if somebody painted the wappen, but how old the paint is, I wouldn't hazard a guess. Since people pay so much for crunched up parts helmets on ebay, I think he's just trying to get top market price (which is his job) for a good piece.
He does take offers, but won't drop a lot below his asking price. However, if you like the helmet, there's nothing to lose by offering what you're willing to pay.

Ron, somebody has done some more painting... Look at the inside of the dome and you wil find out that this is painted black, while it shouldn't be painted at all. You can even seen the pitting (rust craters) are filled up a bit with this black paint...
For me this and the plate are things that are not original, so I would never buy this helmet...

You're absolutely right Alder; that's what I thought too when scrutinizing the inside.
I'm looking to buy the original/unmessed with thing for both the JZP and the Kurassier M15s and for a reasonable price; not what Brent is asking!
