I finally got motivated to re-tie the neckerchief on this uniform.
It was much harder than it looks because the material is so thick after so many folds.
Originally, as seen in the first photographs in this thread, I was waaaay wrong in how I tied it.
I tied a sort of Windsor knot simply trying to make it look like period photographs.
After what seems hours, it is now correctly tied.
The blue stripe is now visible:
