Kar88 Regimental Markings.

Hello Everyone,

I have this KAR.88, I have been struggling to find information about it's history. Perhaps one of you may be able to help.

Regimental markings are:

B.2.T.B.2.6.

This specific 88 was manufactured in 1892 my Haenel Suhl, I know that the first major activation of the 88's was in the mining protests in the Ruhr region by Royal Prußen police units, as well calvary and artillery.

If anyone has any information or any leads to share, I would be very greatful for your input.

Thank you, my grandfather found the kar88 after driving by a garage sale and seeing the butt sticking out of a pile of stuff. Picked it up for $5 in the 1980's. Almost thirty years later, this artifacts history is now no longer a mystery thanks to you. My Grandfather and his son will be very pleased.
