Hi guysI just found a close to complete set of Keiserseit pamphets. Any idea as to what it is worth? Also found a "unissued" Prussian M1916 pickelhaub excellent in every way. Ideas?

The "Kaiserzeit" was started in 1972. Chip Minx was one of the founding fathers. Origionally it was published six times a year for the first three years. It then changed to a quarterly format. I know that the journal was still around in 1982. Joe or Chip may have more to add. If anyone finds more of these I would love to fill in some of my missing issues. Bill

Then I'm missing the first year , but I have thr0ugh #54 in 1993. Sorry not complete but 20 years worth.

dg,
You actually made me look and I'm glad! I need to reread a lot of these. I have volume 2 number 4,5,6 and up but I do not have number 54. I do have a duplicate of number 51. So I do not have any of volume 1 nor the first three of volume 2. You have a grand set. There are some tremendous articles in their and some great contributors. I do not know what happened between the time that the magazines stopped functioning and the time that forums started happening. It is simply true however that the speed of learning has increased geometrically. Still lots of great sources in the old magazines. In addition, there was an American magazine called Der Angriff. Primarily directed towards reenactors it has lots of old pictures but I do not have good publication dates just several copies.

Congratulations on your set keep them together!
