Kettledrummers

Someone wrote the Regiment and garrison that each is from but there appear to be some problems. From left..Garde du Corps, Berlin : Guard Dragoon Regiment 2, Potsdam : Dragoon Regiment 2, Schwedt : Leib Garde Husaren, Potsdam : Guard Dragoon 3, Potsdam : KR7, Halberstadt

To the best of my knowledge there was no 3rd Guard Dragoon Regiment so maybe that one is the 1st Guard Dragoon?

Very nice picture, Bob. You are correct, there was no 3rd Guard Dragoon Regiment. It looks like the the cypher on the kettledrum cover is a “V” which would make it 1st Guard Dragoon Regiment.

A subject dear to me
In my collecting years I have owned 2 ketle drum covers
Kurassiere Regt 4 and the last model of the G d C Regt
Interesting that the K R 7 drummer has the dienst cover
while all the others have the parade covers
