Here is a single shoulder strap in my collection .
KFGGR 2 in the rank of Col. General with the honorary rank of GFM
This is the 2nd model of this rank when there were 4 rank pips and the
crossed GFM batons were no longer allowed
The strap was worn by Erbprinz Bernhard of Sachsen-Meiningen
The view of the back of the strap shows it was cut from his uniform
we see a piece of the Feldgrau material.
What is of interest to me while the strap was made for and worn by a Royal
the strap was fabricated incorrectly
The cypher is correct but the crown above the cypher is a Russian crown
not the correct Austrian crown
The strap has the original red overlay over white .
