Hi Lars,
great - many thanks for the AVB 1909!
Now we have it officially, there was no company that won the Kaiser Badge three times in a row (for 1908, 1909, 1910 !).
And now - perhaps a sample (Probestück) ???? I have no idea!

p.s.: anyway, on the jacket of the Garde-Gren.-Rgt. Nr.2 the badge has no reason to be there.

This exercise validates the credibility of the data you've put together to document the awarding of Kaiser Prizes. That was a very important piece of work you provided for those of us who have an interest in this facet of Imperial collecting.

As Steve alluded to, the existence of the fantasy badge currently sitting in someone's' collection is a bit disturbing.
