Kokarde Konfusion....

Bayern or Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt? I have seen these around on ebay a lot lately advertised as a Bavarian kokarde but doesn't seem correct.

 
Neither. The colors, blue, gold, blue, represent Braunschweig (Brunswick), but I wouldn't place much faith in the integrity of that example.
 
here is another one with the same but slightly different "rusty" effect. i think it is blue and white but the white just kind of looks yellow like Braunschwieg from the photo. I find it very hard to pick out the authentic vs the fake kokarden jobs.

I see it as blue and (off) white too. Given the black paint beneath, front and back, it looks like a repaint of a Prussian Kokarde.
 
I remember a time when you made your own 'replacement' cockades until you stumbled upon originals at shows.
