Kurassier Metalhelme M1915 - Yet Another One

It seems to me that there are more Metalhelmes in the US than Germany nowadays!
This one is too rusty and seems to have lost most of its gray finish on the fittings and trimmings if you ask me.
But what about the wappen and the chinstrap metal parts; don;t they look golden/brass instead of gray?
