Here is the standarte of K R 7
the old muster pattern of this flag is one of a kind
no other flag was made in this same pattern
the flag was removed from the pole after WWII

some years ago it was floating around here in the USA.
Some where not sure if it was a veterans flag
It ended up with Ray Zyla of Mohawk Arms
with it was a Prussian Line Infantry white flag
Ray wanted to sell them together
I was not a player for the two
He said that he would not bring it to a show
however he did
I was able to have it in my hand
I asked the price
he told me
I gave him what cash I had with me and asked him to hold
the flag for me and I would send him the balance when I got home
He told me to take it with me now
so I did
The story is that a doctor who served in the military in Germany
brought the two flags home with him
he kept them a number of years
it was said that he had no family, so he gave them to
someone who worked for him
later they were offered for sale

You are correct
when in storage the flag disappeared
the pole only was returned
the unit ring and pole top are on it
