The 32 L.T. has a hand written "Corp. Johnson" in pencil in th eback visor. Based on Pietsch, the extra tall spike designated the Company trumpeter. I guess the officer needed to find the trumpeter among all the other spikes and the tallest one was "it". The helmet has a cut out crown Prussian eagle with a Prussian reserve cross on the tail. The cockade is green/white for Thuringia.
