Gentlemen,

Went to Koekelare yesterday. A village in Flanders.
German occupied Belgium in 1914-1918.
Position of the Langer Max 38 cm gun.
Fired at Dunkerque (France) 44 kms away !
8) This makes a gunners heart beat faster ! 8)
A nice little museum.
Not many hauben....but...
But this was a nice display.
"Pop Up" Wappen and Kokarden !!!

About 4 years ago I was in Koekelare myself and I was unable to find the museum. Although I followed the few signs of the museum, I ended up at some hippie farm :-s
