"I just received this. Appeared as a Buy it Now offer on the german ebay a few weeks ago and I was lucky enough to spot it immediately. The condition of this helmet is just unbelievable. Absolutely pristine, and of course 100% genuine and original in every detail. Coming straight from the family of the original owner (in Cologne), who was killed in WW1. Stunning.

Bruno mine is not nearly in as good condition as yours but mine has the chinscales. I'm closing in on an officer's and when I get it I will sell this OR one.

Ok Tony no problem. I'll let you know when /if it gets close I really think this one is a when this summer. In the meantime I need to take better pictures of it. Bruno's is in better shape.

Wow it is inexpensive too! He does say 100% original. I wonder what a 96% original looks like? Funny I was looking for enamel......
