Studio portrait of Leutnant Erich von den Brincken of the Großherzoglich Mecklenburgische Jäger-Bataillon Nr. 14 in service dress, photographed in 1907. The Leutnant wore a typical dark green tunic with a silver embroidered collar, he wore the Mecklenburg adjutant's sash from his right shoulder. The gold sash was combined with blue and red coloured silk strips. The Mecklenburg coat of arms fixed to the shako front is clearly visible. Interestingly, he carried an old patterned officer’s sword with the crowned monogram “FF” surrounded by an oak leaf wreath decorated on the langets.
