Hi chas: The rear spine on the 115th helmet mounts a little differently than on a standard spike helmet. The rear arm of the spike base is formed to the contour of the rear spine and holds the upper end of the spine in place when the helmet is assembled with the spike base on top of the spine. The upper end of the spine is also generally cut in a "V" to clear the rear base stud. From the photo it looks like the helmet has been assembled incorrectly with the rear spine on top of the base.

Looks good but why would this seller list it on French ebay when he is in MN, USA ??? Brian

Thanks for the explanation. After enlarging the photo, this was more readily apparent (I'm a Hessen neophyte).

Hmmm! I see two new pictures were added to the listing yesterday. It would appear the seller has addressed this issue.
