Hi all,

The last few posts in this forum got me wondering if there is a list (or perhaps one can be started) of reputable dealers in WWI militaria? I am going to try and pick up a replacement for my grandad's Iron Cross, 2nd Class, but as a relative rookie/newcomer, feel somewhat at risk of being had, given the huge number of fakes, especially of the Iron Cross, apparently in circulation.

And, just to check my own info: a decent Iron Cross, 2nd class without box should fetch around $70ish US dollars, yes? How about with the box? I do not plan on collecting these, just want a period replacement, so fancy/rare markings are not necessary, or needed.
