M 1915 Husaren straps

Absolutely Stunning Steve, I have much regret I didn't by a wonderful Hussar medics Attila from Malcolm years ago. It was one of Marshall Dauts ex collection items. Mr. Daut is a great fellow, he helped me out a good deal.

I love the husar straps.

BTW, it seems HR12 is not commonly found

I did not know that .1 L H R 1 & 2 L H R 2 were very difficult for me
I got them from the former Chip Minx collection
Also H R 7 and H R 17 were the last two H R straps that I got
I knew that M. Fisher bought the entire M Daut Feldgrau collection
and then did a book and sold the collection one item at a time .
I guess M. Baldwin got first pick
That would have been an attila to have
too bad that you didn't get it
Some of the J z P Wafenrock and a Koller were from my old collection

I wish I had the ability to have gotten a thing or two from Chip. He was the shoulder strap master IMO. He also had some wonderful issue tunics. He was kind enough to invite me to him home and show me he goodies. He also gave me a tour of the WW1 Museum on KC. Wonderful guy...
