M15 officer's helmet without bandeau

My first officer's helmet! :cool:

So who would wear a line eagle without bandeau? There is no evidence of a missing Landwehr cross.

Congrats Robert, very cool helmet. I had one but is was missing the spike top. Can't think of any officer wappen without bandeau and Reservist cross. Perhaps it was fastened to the tail feathers by 2 prongs bent around. I have seen this on a couple of helmets. Anyway, very nice! Brian
 
Thanks I guess that a lost cross is the most likely solution, besides a wartime shortage. I did not plan to buy this piece anyway, it just happened..
