Here is a m15 tschapka on ebay...its a nice piece....looks like a little damage to the back of the shell but otherwise not bad!

Yes you got it for a great price !!
About 2 years ago I was looking for one and did not feel like paying $1200 for one that was the going rate.
I found one on an abscure auction and won it for $650 .
You may have gotten the deal of the century !!!
 
Yes....good price but it does need some work on that visor. Unfortunately, the latest scientific studies show that hauben of all types are carriers of C19. Consequently, I have had to invest in a Hazmat Suit and appropriate respirator along with special needles/thread. As a result, I have to pass these extra costs on to the customer, so for you James...$600US for the repair. :D I look forward to working on yer hat! :thumb up:
