Looks like there's more WW1 Camo. helmets nowadays in the US than there was back in Germany during the war!! :-"
What do you think of this one?
The seller has already gone overboard with his shipping fee: Such a helmet would actually cost slightly less than $30 by USPS Priority to Canada (w/o insurance).

Ron: That's his domestic shipping fee; which is already expensive I believe.
Matt: I'm with you and have already informed the seller that shipping such a helmet all the way to the Great White North (very far Canada) costs only $30 by USPS Priority so he'd be charging an extra $70 for handling!!

But what do you guys think of the camouflage nevertheless?
 
It looks ok to me, although the liner pads look a bit odd in some pics but this could also be because of the flash light used. If you are interested in buying a camo helmet, I am not sure whether ebay is the right place to look considering the fishy helmets all too often encoutered there. Please have a look at and its also in Canada:

This is one of my favorite sites but their prices have gone way too high for my budget in recent months, not to mention taxes...
They recently had a very nice camo. helmet for slightly less than a $1000 but someone beat me to it. The other one left which a bit more expensive is way too rusted for my taste with a very dry and damaged liner.
But thanks for the tip though, much appreciated my fellow collector!
 
:-k Didn't look at international shipping and if it's $100, then yeah, WAY too much!

The last German M16 with original camouflage I bought was in the early 1990's for $80 and the one before that was $50 in the early 1980's. Then, in the late '70's, I picked one up with poor camo, and no liner for $20. Nice to see that a $150 'investment' has increased so much! It's difficult to believe how much these prices have gone up... such a shame for collectors.
