Found some time to take a few pictures again… One of my latest finds is this M95 Offiziers Pickelhaube for Badisches Pionier-Batl. Nr.14 (Kehl) XIV Armee Korps. I wasn’t especially looking for this one, but couldn’t resist when I got it in my hands…

Thought so :( …. But how do you keep coming up with these mint condition helmets ?
Is there still a pickelhaube factory out there that never closed ?

There are still enough pickelhauben in the world, it's only a matter of finding them. Due to the fact I collect since 1973 (jeezz, getting old #-o ), I know a lot of collectors and dealers... This has of course advantages in finding stuff, negative side is that some of them sometimes ask to high prices... Maybe I got a bit to selective during the years, but if one has to pay good money for something, the acquired piece has to be good also...
But hey, the address of that pickelhaube factory must be somewhere in India or China, but I don't like their helmets, so I'll stick to the old ones...
