Unfortunately as cool as this is, there is no room in my new house for this giant Württemberg Wappen.
It looks like a standard Württemberg helmet Wappen at first, but there are some differences. I bought this in 2007 and loved it, as As Württemberg is one of my favorite kingdoms, but its time to move it on.
I believe it is off of a gate or building. It appears to have been made for a restoration of a government heritage building of some sort in Württemberg, as is probably not that old (19702? 1980s?) but it carries a serial #. It is cast metal, and has three very large bolts on the reverse to bolt it onto a gate or wall. It measures a whopping 20 inches from side to side and the same vertically.
A full week inspection if you need it. Money order or bank draft or Paypal if you use the "Family/friends option so I do not get hit with the fee. Price is what I paid, only $235 USD which I think is a bargain for something so unique. Postage will be around $40 to the US or Canada.
