With SOS only three weeks away I'm all the more excited after attending this weekend's Michigan Antique Arms Collectors Show. I didn't know about this one, and that's a real shame actually because it had some fantastic items. I bought two British sun helmets - an early Colonial Pattern from Hong Kong (Bill Combs suggested that the Filipino insurgent officers may have worn these, while these were also popluar with the Philippine Constabulary), and an interwar Khaki Sola Pith helmet to the East Yorkshire Regiment.
The show had a display of some incredible Colt fireams, and more impressively a collection of Remington rifles, which included a Remington made Mosin Nagent. I posted a photo essay:

I have to say I think I'll look forward to the next of these shows, as it is a nice 500 table show, so for me as interesting as the MAX.
