My „Oldenburg Collection“ Ersatz Pickelhaube OJR 91

Dear Community,

now follows from my Oldenburg Collection a Field gray exhibit, which I would like to present to you!
This is an „Ersatz Pickelhaube“ from the Oldenburg Infantry Regiment No. 91.

The helmet has been in my Collection for about 30 years. Except for the Oldenburg Kokarde, which I watch suspiciously, but have left on the helmet until now, I am very satisfield with this piece.

Have been watching and may the Field gray Specialists enjoy ist…. !

Dear Frank this one is a rare bird indeed. A Oldenburg feldgrau ersatzhelm is the dream of any collectors. I love it a lot. Has the leather liner been sewn back on the body? The leather appears to be very fragile as is often the case in ersatz helmets.

Here again for all an inside and the outside shot taken in the same place. You can see the seam on the outside at this point.
Yes, the leather is also thin and fragile in this helmet!
