Mystery Regimental Marking

Recently I came across a regimental I am unsure of. Is there anyone able to illuminate this one for me? Comes off a rifle band: (Script) L .OP.1.22

1st kompanie. 22 waffe, OK, script L is Landsturm, what in the world is .OP. ?

Landsturm Btn .OP. 1st kompanie. 22 waffe

George, Is the marking as you have shown it with "OP" in upper case letters?

1920's police markings for Oeppeln were shown as "Op" and I would think that Ost Preussen would be "O.P.".

Can we see photos?
