NCO versus Officer

Gentlemen,

I'm new to the hobby and I'm in the process of acquiring two pickelhaubes, one NCO and the other an Officer.
Both are from Prussia and in the same condition, my question is the following, is an NCO helmet worth the same as a pure Officer ? If not, what would be the difference ?

Thank you

Hey Pat,
Tha tis a difficut question to answer, as most NCO helmets are somethng else. About the only way yo tell an NCO helmet from any other is if it has the owner's name inscibed with in, and that inscription includes his rank. for example, I have a stink common M1915 Bavarian helmet with officer's Kockarden, with out an inscription, it could be a made up helmet, so the value would be the value of an M15 with out Kockarden, plus the value of a pair of Bavarian officer's Kockarden. But the helmet is named to an Offizierstellvertreter, and the inscription is what makes it more valuable.
Best
