You'll notice that the spike and base plate don't quite match... I've one just like this that I'm looking for a Kugel to replace the spike on.
It was my first helmet and I didn't know anything about markings, but I suspect somebody wanted a spike, rather than a kugel so did either a trade or just took a spike off another helmet and tossed the ball.
So, as for mine, nice helmet, but I have to find that M15 Kugel!
