Need some help in how to describe this cap

hello,
I am not that good in cloth headgear, so I could use some help in how to describe this hat for the best.

At first glance it would appear to be a war time officer's cap (Schirmmütze), but the white bottom edging has me puzzled.
 
So would it be correct to state that it is a M17 summer Schirmmütze to a infantry Prussian officer !?
The bottom edging is not quiet white, but seems like a discoloration, due to age. I think it was originally the same color as the top.

I've seen it several times that the field grey fabric used for the bottom piping is not the same as that used for the top, and I think they aged a little bit different.

A nice officer's field cap, not sure why you call it "summer" and "M17" but that's probably due to my lack of knowledge. As far as I know the regulations changed to field grey peaks in the end of 1915, but I know officer's didn't always follow that.

As said, very common to find wartime Schirmmützen where the bottom edging underneath the cap band is a different and typically cheaper material. Also very common that these have bleached out and the dye has faded, and they look much lighter in colour. Nice hat!

Nothing wrong with your knowledge!!
Just my interpretation of what I read during my research.
I am probably totally wrong, and the reason of my question;"how to describe this cap at his best"...
 
It is not a M'15 as pointed out then the visor would be field grey, nor M'17 as piping and band would be green. But it is a nice field service officer's wartime Schirmmützen. If you want to assign a model designation (something collectors get hung up on, even if they are made up) it would be a M'07/10. When I was in the military we never called anything (weapons and vehicles excluded) by a model number, half the time we were lucky if we even got the name of something right.
