Hi,
I am glad to found your forum. And now I can login, thanks to Brain.
A short presentation of me: Based in Munich. Age 44 years
When I began to collect, there was not the web in its present form. Information for Military or Hussars in particular was very hard to find, not like today with one or two mouse clicks. Even books were hard to find. How it all began??
A little boy has played with the Military. Plastic soldiers and plastic models. At that time there was not the stupid debate about war toys. Please excuse this expression. I do not glorify war nor am I violent. Maybe it was the good education that I've enjoyed.
First of all I get the medals of my Grandfather WW2 but I stroll with my mother very often on the flew market’s here in Germany.
On time I found the trousers of a Hussar. So this was the beginning I sold all my WW2 stuff and started to collect Hussars. Leib Garde Husar of course
First, I introduce you my NOC Leib Garde Husaren. It took over 25 years to fit him in his current form of presentation.
I know the presentation does not ensure correct. But it is only possible for me to see all the things like Kartuschkasten or Säbeltasche.
The Medallbar is from anofficer of the cuirassiers. But I like the decoration as it is. Maybe I'm a bit like Brands ...
The last part was the Dolman NOC from the Brand / Kube auction.
Was one of you on this auction? Sitting in some a American / English people. We have a small "figth" for a Kartuschkasten
rofileright:
I was the dark-haired man with his wife blond ……..
Maybe the other collectors here could upload some picture of Hussars.
Forgot in front the child Hussar is not a toy Hussar, regular small child items Saxon 19th Hussars in the “new” form “Rossetten” in silver not cloth after 1903….
I will sell a Attila Leib Garde Husaren in NOC in condition 3+ and a Dolman Pelzjacke regularly Leib Garde Husar in condition 2+
Sorry for my poor English …
