Dear Friends,

Christine and I have been visiting the battlefields around Ypres and Verdun again during the first 10 days of june 2006.
For who is interested in viewing photographs of the Battlefields of nowadays, I would like to invite you to visit my new photo-impressions about Traces of Bairnsfather, near St. Yvon, Ploegsteert, Belgium and not easy to relocate, The Fortress of Tavannes on the battlefield of Verdun.
May I advise you also to visit the Preview of our Trip of Spring 2006?

There you will find some samples of photopages to come in the near future. The site already exists of 74 photopages, but I hope to extend it with pages about German artillery bunkers near the Bois le Pretre, the command post of Col. Driant, in the Bois des Caures, etc.

Otto, comme tu sais, de temps en temps tu peut me retrouver ici dans votre forum bien informé. C'est encore un grande inspiration pour moi et il y a beaucoup des choses a apprendre.
Je ne collectionne pas, comme tu sais, mais je me sens comme toujours tres bienvenue dans votre forum. Merci encore pour l'hospitalité!
Apres tout nous partagons le meme passion pour l'époque. Je pense , que c'est le plus important!
