Gentlemen,

I stumbled across this remarkable E-document whilst trawling around the internet, trying to find out how Landsturm collar insignia were attached to the tunic collars - unsuccessfully I may add.

Pages two and three are particularly interesting and relevant to this forum.

Notebook of 4864 PTE EJ Nowland, 38 Aust Inf Bn, for the School of Intelligence held at the Australian Corps School from January 28th to February 1918.

This item has been copied verbatim from original material held in the Aust Int Corps Museum. There has been no change to the layout or content of the original. Apparently it was copied by hand in the field, so grammar, spelling and punctuation make this difficult to read at times. Nevertheless, this is a fascinating insight into the world of the WW1 intelligence system.
