Amazing price. Perhaps a good example of "collector fever" in action. However, if you have been waiting years for a set to turn up for sale then maybe you "throw down" on it reguardless. I must confess....been there and done that!

#-o Man! That was the price of a complete officer's helmet just a while ago (1980's). I'd rather use repros than pay that much, but then, I'm not the bidders on this one!
