Officer Kokarden 2018

I am trying to repost pictures which were destroyed by PhotoBucket. We did not have a thread specific to Officer kokarden so here goes:

Prussian style Reichs Kokarde introduced in 1897. Three piece construction.

Reverse side showing cardboard backing and folded metal tabs which hold the white metal ring to the kokarde. These kokarden are always worn on the right side of the helmet (when worn on the head).

One piece painted brass Wurttemberg officer kokarde.

I don't know what the struggles are but I am sure they are immense. I will be very interested to hear what conclusions are drawn as this is a minefield of examples and Dr. jobs. This could be very very educational.
