OR cockades which seem repainted to say the least on an officer Pickelhaube...

But what about that Überzug; isn't it too minty to be original?
Would it be appropriate for a M1897 Bavarian Chevauleger or Beamte Off.?

The uberzug has the classic DRP ink stamp on the underside of the visor. It looks original....not rare. A typical private purchase officer cover with no Regt markings. The starting price is high....$165 is a lot to pay for one of these. Everyone wants the numbered ones.

Hello Brian!
Do you think it would be appropriate for any of my M1897 Off. Pickelhauben (Bavarian Chevauleger or Prussian Beamte)?

Hi Ron: Your Bavarian helme will have a squared visor so no to that one. Yes to the Beamte if it has a rounded visor. Can't remember if that is the case with Beamte. You might run into size problems as well. However, if it does not fit, as a fellow haube addict, I am sure there will be other helmes in your future!
