OK, it's not a JzP "Lobstertail" helm, BUT...

Ok, ok... I know it isn't a metalhelm, but thought other JzPf helmet collectors might enjoy this one...Dragoon helmet marked Jg.RzPf 12, 1913 and 3E.
I've had several EM marked helmets, two silver trim helmet (marked to the 4th & 7th), and a brass trimmed (marked to the 8th) but this is my only JzPf marked leather helmet.

I'm going to double post this here and in the Dragoon section...best of both worlds.

Why not show us a shot of the inside with the
regiment markings ?

Thanks for the new photos .
I thought that I remembered that helmets
from some years ago .
That is the only Dragoon style helmet
that I have seen marked to a J z P Regiment .

Any other collectors out there seen another one ?

Nope only one I have seen. I remember one of our fellow collectors had a Standard Prussian M15 marked to a JZP unit, very cool.

The higher number JZP regiments were supposed to have leather helmets. As you can see from these examples JZP8 had both kinds.
