Okay guys just got this one and I'm a little uneasy with Garde Star. Maybe it's me I am seeing a little excess metal on the Garde Star "sunburst" rays.

I tried to take the wappen off but she's on there real tight. I am hesistant to remove it. Looks original to the helmet with indentation marks on the shellac/leather where it should be.

The other odd thing is the leather tab which holds the fangschnur toggle. Never saw that before.

This completes my uniform for a Uhlan of the 13th which I will take photos of the complete kit soon.

The only thing I know of is the maker's Mark -- we do not have an example of the same -- care to add it?
 
Was thinking of you Joe when I took it the makers mark pic. I was going to ask you if we have it but you beat me to it. Feel free to add it.
