Nice helmet. The front plate does look big, but normal for a Bavarian officer (especially the pre-1914 model). The only flaw I can see is that the shellack is a little rough in places. The silk liner is uncommon (as pointed out by the seller himself)! I have already see similar ones in officer helmets though.
 
Very nice, the marks in the shellac look like they were caused by a cloth uberzug. I have never seen that liner before but it looks original.
 
I saw other Helmets with such a liner, all bavarian. Personally I love the Bavaria helmets espacially because of these large plates. For me it looks original, except for the stars. 2 of them look like ebay copies, because the edges seems not sharp.
