Original Cockades on my Pickelhaube - Thanks Amy!

Many thanks to Amy for helping me to get an original set of cockades for my Pickelhaube. It is now all original except for the chin strap. But I did get a very good quality replacement chin strap from Steffan at Prairie Flower Leather.



Looks great and I am so happy and so grateful to Amy.

Now the ongoing hunt for an M1915 Prussian Artillery Pickelhaube with grey steel fittings (within my budget). My wife and I are off on our annual Christmas Market trip to Europe on Thursday , which includes Koblenz, Frankfurt and Aachen so you never know - might get lucky and find something over there. Will also be in various parts of Belgium.

Any hints on places over there appreciated.

Always love the wow effect of completing a helmet so I was happy to help others achieve that "wow its complete," kind of feeling. =D>
