Here is where I am going to spend much time (and money!!) for the coming years, if everything goes well.
Just recieved the message our bid was accepted by the familly selling the estate.

I (in fact we!) hoped we could have started such a project in France, but since our government decided we should keep on working until 67 years of age, we better do it here. or we will never do it.....
 
Congratulations on your purchase. We are actually going to be putting an addition on the back of our house starting hopefully next April.

We signed the primary papers a few days ago. Funny thing is, now we met the familly selling the house, we actualy know them from our professional life.
 
I like the place. There seems to be a great potential. Where is it?

It is north of Antwerp, not far from the Dutch border.
There is 500m2 warehouse and corral.
It is indeed a fridge what you see......used to be for horse meat! :oops:
 
Very nice. For me it is typical of belgian suburban/countryside architecture, where I used to spend a lot of time (mostly in Aalst).
