This helmet is definitely an anomaly.
It is a pre war Bavarian with an Mexican cross base and plume.
The Mexican helmets are RARE , can you imagine trying to find a cross bas.
Other than the plume and base all original.
The off style liner has seen 100yrs plus of aging.

It looks like it may have been nailed to something because it has 2 tiny pin holes on the front and rear visors.
This is a EM that is double dated
reissued possibly 3 times
The brass grommets have been semi punched out to accept plate changes.
The tritcher has striped the hole and is loose
The C/S looks old but I do believe it is post war.
