Hello everyone,

Does anyone had a good clear copy of this photo? I know it has been shown on the Internet before and I believe that it has come out of the photographic collection of the Imperial War Museum. The original shots are crystal clear and sharp.

This is one of a series of photos of this unit, who are carrying the parts to a smaller caliber field gun, perhaps an Infanterie Geschütz. Drop me a PM if you have a copy you can send me.

Tony Meldahl is selling a copy now on Ebay but I'm not sure if the quality is going to be any better than the one you already have.

Is that a shield painted on the side of the helmets?

I am seeing 2 helmets with shields in that foto.

Sorry to rake up this one again guys, but I bounced into a similar picture and one helmet-decal can also be seen there. Is this picture being regarded as post-war or late-war?
I always figured that decals were post-war or am I wrong?
