I recently bought a German photograph album for retail, that has a lot of 2nd Marine division and a couple of 1st Marine division photograph.
There is a lot of information on the back of the photographs, I have included a scan for the back for those that may want to translate.

Sadly my German language skills though developing rapirdly can't yet read all the spidery scrawl, if its printed or even those weird Gothic fonts, otherwise I would have provided a translation
