Pickelhaube and German Militaria References

Howdy!

I might have missed this somewhere in the numerous listings, but I was wondering if any of you might be able to refer me to some reference books on pickelhauben and first world war german militaria?

I have seen many online but I am not sure what is the best. I like to have a good set of references before any sort of heavy collecting.

As far as referances for German militaria, I would recoment Johan Somers' books

There are two volumes out at this point and another to come out soon. They can be ordered from amazon for less than 45 bucks each (plus shipping).

Volume 3 has been finally finished and sent to the publisher. It might go in next Schiffers Spring catalogue, but still TBD I guess.

I would like to thank all collectors who contributed and who made this book possible !!
