Pickelhaube württemberg

Hello comrades :) ,
I have recently purchased the spiked helmet, as I understand, this is a dragoon? is the Pickelhaube okay?

this is indeed a dragoner helmet
my first impresion tels me that it looks ok to me
but it misses its other cocade the pruisian one
otherwise the helmet is prooven to be a good one
it just has a verry hard patine on its parts

Not having looked at any references, it is a nice looking helmet! I don't know when Wurt. started putting the Reichs kokarde on their helmets, I'm sure somebody will know... if there was a time they didn't. By that I mean this might be set up right without it. There don't seem to be any marks in the lacquer from one.

They started with the reichskokarde in 1897, so this helmet doesn't need it...

Congratulations! That is a very nice helmet and has the same older officer liner as the 1st Garde Dragoner piece that I am working on.
